This box does include imported produce at lean times, especially between Christmas and June. March – May is the leanest time for Irish seasonal veg, traditionally called “the Hungry Gap” as the veg from last years harvest is all gone, or has begun sprouting in the warm spring weather. The new produce is only sown in February and wont be ready for harvesting until June or July.

Custom box – you tell us exactly what you want, you can be as specific or as non specific as you like : ( I.e 250g mushrooms, 500g tomatoes, 3pc pears, 1kg apples, make up to 15euro with potatoes) or (NO potato, Include bananas apples avocado make up to 20euro)

Use our most recent Retail Price List (see sidebar on left) to customise your Fruit and Veg Box, and be sure to let us know how you want any balance made up (e.g. in spuds or carrots). You can download and edit the price list and email it back to us and we’ll customise your box for delivery. (Just remember to attach the edited price list to your email).
